As opposed to Val, I really can NOT cook, but in my defense I never had to learn b/c my husband does it all. In fact, I’m officially banned from cooking in my house. However, when it comes to burning things, I’m your girl. I burn not only food but other items that I like to place on the burners (cordless phone, multiple spatulas, tongs, bottle nipples) while “cooking”.  See why I’m banned now?

Something ridiculous: Although I’m 45 years old, I’m the baby of my family. Because I’m the youngest, my mother and siblings never expect me to cook or bring anything to family functions. They assume I don’t know how to cook and never ask.

Most people, that I know, already know this: I’ve never been drunk in my life, never smoked a cigarette or anything else.

My parents and Dave Recht.  

My father died when I was 18 but had a profound effect on my life. He was very positive and loving, and a wonderful man to know. My mother has been my rock since my dad died. She is now 84 but is still one of the strongest people I know.

Dave Recht because of his generous attitude towards those who are loyal to him. Not only generous financially, but with opportunities, his trust, and his reciprocal loyalty.
